IIM Sambalpur has released notification for admission to MBA course in Fintech Management. Interested and Eligible candidates can apply online. The proposed program encompasses 17 specialised courses including immersion at IIM Sambalpur, and with NSE Academy (National Stock Exchange Subsidiary), Mumbai. The program features a dedicated Incubator training program with mentor support to aid in launch of startup in fintech.

Qualifications :
Candidate should hold a bachelor’s degree or an equivalent qualification in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent percentage. While degrees in any field are accepted, backgrounds in business, economics, mathematics, engineering, computer science, or related disciplines are preferred.
Work Experience:
A minimum 2 years of Post Qualification managerial/ entrepreneurial/ professional experience as on last date of application.
Statement of Purpose (SOP) :
The candidate should submit a SOP not exceeding 2000 words and should include talk about your career path, interests, professional contributions, goals and the driving force behind pursuing MBA in Fintech Management.
No Objection Certificate/ Consent letter:
Candidates shall be required to submit a “No Objection Certificate”/ “Consent letter” for pursuing MBA from their employer. In case of self-employed, a declaration with respect to the same will be required.
Selection Criteria
Candidates fulfilling the minimum eligibility criteria as above shall be called for the PI process. The Committee in consultation with the Competent Authority will decide the number of candidates to be called for PI.
Upon being shortlisted, the candidate shall appear for a personal interview in front of the Expert panel. The selection panel will assess the suitability of the candidates based on their managerial acumen and entrepreneurial mindset. Candidate will be especially assessed based on Statement of Purpose (SOP) apart from academic record, professional accomplishments, etc.
Merit List will be prepared based on Personal Interview, Academic Qualification, Relevant Work Experience and Statement of Purpose (SOP).
