IIBF extends last date to apply for Assistant Director (Academics/ Training)

IIBF has extended last date to apply for Assistant Director (Academics/ Training) on permanent basis. There are a total of 2 vacancies for this recruitment. The last date for submission of online application for the above position is now extended up to 20th December 2025.

Essential Qualification:

  • Postgraduate degree in Commerce, Economics, Banking, Finance, or CA/CMA/CS

Desirable Qualifications:

  • MBA/PGDBA/PGDBM (Banking & Finance) or equivalent two-year course
  • Ph.D in a Banking or Finance-related topic
  • CAIIB
  • CFA

Essential Experience:

  • Should have worked for a minimum of 5 years in Banks or Financial Institutions and held the position of Assistant Manager or above, or an equivalent position in the private sector.
    OR
  • Should have worked for a minimum of 5 years in a college or university and held the position of Assistant Professor or above, specifically in banking and finance subjects.

Desirable Experience:

  • Experience working as faculty
  • Published articles or books

Job Profile:

  • Preparation and vetting of course materials
  • Preparation and vetting of multiple-choice questions
  • Coordinating Continuous Professional Development Programmes
  • Organizing seminars and lectures
  • Assisting in the publication work of the Institute
  • Assisting in the promotion of IIBF’s courses
  • Handling sessions in training programmes conducted by IIBF
  • Contributing to the research initiatives of the Institute
  • Contributing to other academic activities of the Institute
  • Assisting the Head of the Department in academic and administrative matters
  • The above list is indicative, not exhaustive, and the Assistant Director (Academics/Training) may be assigned additional responsibilities based on the evolving requirements of the Institute.

Age Limit:

  • The candidate should not be more than 35 years old as on 01.11.2025.

Selection Procedure:

  • Shortlisted candidates will be required to appear for a personal interview before the selection committee at the Institute’s Corporate Office in Mumbai.
  • Outstation candidates will be reimbursed for economy-class airfare (to and fro).
  • No reimbursement will be provided for local conveyance.

Remuneration:

  • The emoluments for the Assistant Director position are currently in the basic pay scale of Rs. 85,100 – 5,100/14 – 1,56,500.
  • Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), and other benefits such as conveyance, telephone, medical, Leave Fare Concession (LFC), and Group Medical Insurance will be provided as per the rules in force from time to time.
  • At present, the total initial package, including salary and all perquisites, is approximately Rs. 19 lakhs per annum on a cost-to-company basis.

Depending on availability, the Institute may consider allotting an unfurnished 2 BHK residential quarter owned by the Institute at Lokhandwala Complex, Andheri West, Mumbai, in place of HRA.
If the Institute-owned flat is not available, reimbursement for leased accommodation will be provided as per existing rules.
