ICICI Bank Regional Head Murder Conspiracy Case: Wife and Lover Arrested in Alwar
In a shocking case involving a bank officer, police in Alwar have arrested a woman and her lover for allegedly plotting the murder of a senior official associated with ICICI Bank. The incident has raised serious concerns among bank employees and highlights growing risks related to personal disputes and financial conflicts.
According to NEB police station in-charge Yogesh Kumar, the complaint was filed by bank officer Karnav Khatri on March 7. He stated that he married Archana Arora, a resident of Govindgarh, in 2018, and the couple has two children.

The complainant revealed that on September 7, 2025, his wife Archana fled from their home with her lover Rishabh Sharma. She allegedly took jewellery and cash worth around ₹5 lakh along with their younger son. Rishabh works as a taxi driver.

On February 8, 2026, Rishabh reportedly threatened the bank officer via WhatsApp call. The victim also stated that a few months earlier, Rishabh attempted to kill him while he was travelling to Jaipur.
Illicit Relationship Developed During Taxi Rides
Police investigation revealed that Archana and Rishabh were in an illicit relationship. Their relationship developed during frequent taxi rides booked through mobile apps. Over time, they grew close and allegedly decided to live together.
Rishabh, originally from Bandikui in Dausa district, later moved to Rajgarh (Alwar), where he lived with his maternal grandfather. During the investigation, police found evidence suggesting that the accused had planned to eliminate the bank officer.
Threat Letter Demanding ₹50 Lakh and Warning of Murder
In a shocking development, Archana sent a threatening letter to her husband’s residence. In the letter, she demanded ₹50 lakh to settle the dispute and warned of serious consequences if the demand was not met.
She reportedly wrote that earlier she had demanded ₹30 lakh, but after legal action was taken against Rishabh, the amount was increased. The letter also contained threats of killing the bank officer and his mother, along with abandoning their children.
As per latest reports, extra-marital affairs are increasing rapidly in India. Extra-marital dating apps have seen massive growth, with one reporting a 734% increase in its community since 2018. Over 50% of adults in some surveys admitted to having an affair.
