Role Overview

As a Cloud Architect, you will play a key role in shaping the Bank’s cloud strategy by designing scalable and secure cloud architectures. You will be a part of the Cloud Centre of Excellence (COE), an enterprise function responsible for leading and governing cloud adoption across the organization. Your expertise will be instrumental in defining cloud reference architectures, setting standards, and ensuring seamless integration with existing infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

1. Cloud Architecture & Strategy

• Design and implement cloud architectures that align with the Bank’s overall cloud strategy.
• Ensure seamless integration of cloud solutions with existing infrastructure.
• Define cloud reference architectures and standards for effective adoption.

2. Performance & Reliability

• Evaluate and update cloud applications, hardware, and software architectures to minimize downtime.
• Regularly assess and refine architecture guidelines to enhance performance and reliability.

3. Scalability & Agility

• Ensure cloud architectures are flexible and scalable to meet future demands.
• Develop frameworks that support rapid deployment of cloud solutions.

4. Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement

• Work closely with operations teams to incorporate feedback into architecture frameworks.
• Partner with service development teams throughout the development lifecycle to ensure adherence to cloud design principles.

5. Governance & Security

• Ensure compliance with security, governance, and regulatory frameworks.
• Act as a subject matter expert for cloud-related concerns and best practices.

6. Solution Review & Optimization

• Review prototypes, blueprints, and project scopes to ensure alignment with business needs.
• Continuously optimize cloud solutions for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

Key Qualifications & Skills

Educational Qualifications

• B.E/ B.Tech/ M.Tech/ M.E/ M.S with 12+ years of experience in cloud technologies.
• Minimum 4+ years of experience in cloud architecture.Prior experience in Banking is an added advantage.

Technical Expertise

• Strong knowledge of AWS, Azure, or GCP with expertise in network, storage, and compute.
• Experience with orchestration, compute, storage, networking, database management, and information security.
• Hands-on experience in software-defined infrastructure (SDI, Cloud, SDE) environments.

Security & Compliance

• Deep understanding of security design, compliance, and governance frameworks.

Collaboration & Leadership

• Ability to act as an SME (Subject Matter Expert) for all cloud-related concerns.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with experience in cross-functional collaboration.
