ICICI Bank Female Employee found dead in Indore; body found burnt in kitchen
Palak Kashyap, a female ICICI Bank executive, was found dead in the kitchen of her rented house in Indore’s Khajrana area. The death has raised suspicion and the cause of death is being ascertained based on mobile phone data, CCTV footage, and the post-mortem report.

Police have taken the body into custody and sent it to the hospital for a post-mortem examination. Preliminary investigations are considering the case suspicious. Her father, Radheshyam Kashyap, said they were originally from Timarni in Harda district. Palak had been working for ICICI Bank in Indore for the past five years. She lived alone in a rented house in Tapeshwari Bagh, Khajrana.
Radheshyam Kashyap, expressing suspicion about his daughter’s death, has demanded an impartial investigation. He says the circumstances of the incident will only be revealed after a police investigation.
Ghanshyam Mishra, a sub-inspector at Khajrana police station, stated that Palak’s body was found burnt in the kitchen of their rented house. A gas stove and other items were also recovered from the scene. Police inspected the scene and collected evidence.
Police are investigating the deceased’s mobile phone. Footage from nearby CCTV cameras is also being examined. Residents living near the house are also being questioned to gather crucial information regarding the incident. Police say the investigation is currently being conducted with all aspects in mind. The cause of death will only be clearly revealed based on the post-mortem report and technical evidence.
