IBPS Server Administrator Recruitment 2026 Notification: The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) is conducting a walk-in selection process for the post of Server Administrator on a regular basis through direct recruitment. The selection process will include document verification, shortlisting, an online examination and a personal interview. The place of posting for the selected candidate will be IBPS, Mumbai.
The successful candidate will be appointed against the existing vacancy. However, IBPS will also maintain a wait list to meet future need-based requirements, and the wait list will remain valid for six months. Eligible candidates who wish to join IBPS as Server Administrator and meet the required eligibility criteria must appear in person at the venue on the specified date and time.
The walk-in selection process will be held on Wednesday, September 30, 2026. Candidates must report and register between 9:30 AM and 10:30 AM. The venue is Institute of Banking Personnel Selection, IBPS House, 90 Ft DP Road, Behind Thakur Polytechnic, Off W E Highway, Kandivali (East), Mumbai – 400101.
Eligibility: Age Limit and Educational Qualifications
For the Server Administrator (Grade D) post, candidates must be between 25 and 33 years of age as on September 1, 2026. The candidate must have been born not earlier than September 2, 1993, and not later than September 1, 2001, with both dates inclusive. The required educational qualification is a B.E./B.Tech degree in Electronics, Computer Science, Information Technology or an equivalent qualification.
Candidates must have a minimum of three years of work experience in a related field. They should also have hands-on experience in Linux Server Administration, such as RHEL or a similar system, along with at least elementary experience in Network Management, particularly L3 Switch. Candidates holding certification from a recognised body in any of these areas will be given additional weightage.
Salary
For the Server Administrator (Grade D) post, the basic pay is ₹35,400 per month. The total emolument at the beginning of the scale is approximately ₹73,020 per month, while the approximate annual Cost to Company (CTC) is ₹14.09 lakh, as applicable in September 2026.
The CTC includes benefits such as the employer’s PF contribution, medical benefits, Medi-Claim, newspaper bill reimbursement, canteen subsidy, performance-linked incentive, gratuity and superannuation. Other benefits, including LTC/HTC, children education subsidy, interest subsidy on housing loans, group personal accident insurance, house furnishing loan, conveyance and computer loan schemes, and incentives for pursuing higher studies, will be provided according to the institute’s rules and policies applicable at the time of appointment, as amended or revised from time to time.

There will be a penalty for wrong answers marked in the Objective Tests. For each question for which a wrong answer has been given by the candidate, one fourth or 0.25 of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted as penalty to arrive at the corrected score. If a question is left blank, i.e. no answer is marked by the candidate, there will be no penalty for that question.
