IBA has called UFBU for a meeting on 04.09.2026. The discussions will be held on the strike announced by UFBU against new PLI scheme and for introduction of 5 Day banking. UFBU has announced All India Strike on 11 September 2026.
According to the IBA letter, the meeting will be held on September 4, 2026, from 11:00 AM onwards. The meeting will take place at the Committee Room, IBA, World Trade Centre, Cuffe Parade, Mumbai. IBA has requested representatives of the unions to attend the meeting and discuss the matter related to the proposed strike.
The meeting invitation has been sent to the All India Bank Employees’ Association (AIBEA), All India Bank Officers Confederation (AIBOC), National Confederation of Bank Employees (NCBE), All India Bank Officers Association (AIBOA), Bank Employees Federation of India (BEFI), Indian National Bank Employees Federation (INBEF), and Indian National Bank Officers Congress (INBOC).
