How much PLI will be paid to MD&EDs of Central Bank of India? Know Here
The Government of India has approved the Performance Linked Incentive (PLI) for Whole-Time Directors (WTDs) of Central Bank of India for the financial year 2024-25. The decision was communicated through a letter dated 18 March 2026 issued by the Department of Financial Services (DFS), Ministry of Finance.
The government had earlier issued a revised PLI scheme on 19 November 2024 for Whole-Time Directors and senior executives of public sector banks, and the current incentives have been calculated based on this revised policy. As per the evaluation, the Central Bank of India received a performance score of 57.67, which has been used to determine the incentive amounts.
The approved PLI for directors includes ₹16,15,680 for Shri Matam Venkata Rao, former MD & CEO, ₹14,01,480 for Shri Vivek Wahi, former Executive Director, and ₹16,12,800 each for Shri M V Murali Krishna and Shri Mahendra Dohare, both Executive Directors.

The government has directed the Central Bank of India to take note of its performance score and take necessary action to release PLI payments. The incentive is not limited to top directors but will also be paid to eligible officers from Scale IV to Scale VIII, as per the revised scheme and the bank’s board-approved policy.
