FSIB Recommends Five Candidates for Executive Director Posts in Public Sector Insurance Companies

The Financial Services Institutions Bureau (FSIB) has recommended the appointment of five candidates for the post of Executive Director (ED) in various non-life public sector insurance companies. Interviews were conducted on May 14 and 16, 2025.

The selections have been made for key positions in the Oriental Insurance Company Ltd. (OICL), General Insurance Corporation of India (GIC-Re), and Agriculture Insurance Company of India Ltd. (AICIL).

The FSIB, in its official communication dated May 16, 2025 (FSIB No. S1217/08-02-003/2025-2026), stated that a total of 16 candidates were evaluated based on their performance in the interface, experience, and eligibility criteria.

List of Recommended Candidates

1. Ms. Anjana Saxena – Recommended for the Executive Director position in OICL, with the vacancy dated 01.04.2025.
2. Shri Amandeep Singh Grover – Selected for OICL, with the vacancy dated 01.07.2025.
3. Ms. Jayashri Balkrishna – Chosen for the ED role in GIC-Re, effective 01.07.2025.
4. Shri Sanjay Lalla – Recommended for the ED position in AICIL, with effect from 01.07.2025.
5. Ms. Mini George – Also selected for an ED role in AICIL, from 01.07.2025.

The appointments are subject to further approval from the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC), following standard procedures.

These selections are expected to bring experienced leadership to the public sector insurance sector, contributing to policy implementation and strengthening administrative capacity.
