PNB Announces Senior Management Changes, New CGM appointed

New Delhi: Punjab National Bank (PNB) has announced changes in its senior management following the retirement of a top official and a new appointment at the zonal level.

The bank said that Sunil Agrawal, who was serving as Chief General Manager (CGM) of the Sastra Division at the Head Office, retired on January 31, 2026, after completing his service tenure.

PNB also informed that Mrityunjay has taken charge in a new role from February 1, 2026. He has been elevated from General Manager (GM) to Chief General Manager (CGM) and will continue to work as the Zonal Manager of the Lucknow Zone.

Mrityunjay is a science graduate and holds a Master’s degree in Business Management. He is also a CAIIB-qualified officer and brings over 32 years of experience in the banking sector.

In another update, Punjab National Bank (PNB) inaugurated its Manikonda branch under the Hyderabad Circle on Saturday. The branch was inaugurated by Vandana Pandey, Zonal Head (General Manager), Hyderabad, in the presence of Arvind Kalra, Circle Head, Hyderabad. The Manikonda branch marks the 76th branch under the Hyderabad Circle.
