Madhya Pradesh: A dispute over a missing tiffin turned serious at a State Bank of India (SBI) branch in Narsinghpur on Sunday night, when a security guard allegedly opened fire during an argument. The incident took place at around 9 PM while furniture work was being carried out at the bank branch.
According to the information available, Vipin Nema, who runs a tiffin service, had arrived at the branch with his two children to deliver meals for the workers and the security guard. The situation became tense when security guard Rajkumar found that one tiffin was missing.

An argument then broke out between Rajkumar and Vipin Nema over the missing meal. The dispute soon escalated, and the security guard allegedly picked up his gun and fired a shot.
The sound of gunfire created panic among the people present at the bank. Those inside the branch reportedly rushed for cover as they feared for their safety.

Police Reach the Spot
After receiving information about the firing, personnel from the Kotwali police station reached the SBI branch. The police apprehended the security guard and seized his weapon.
Rajkumar was taken to the Kotwali police station, where he is being questioned about the incident. Police are trying to establish what led to the firing and why the dispute over the tiffin escalated to the use of a firearm.

Investigation Underway
The police are recording the statements of people who were present at the bank when the incident took place. Investigators are also examining the circumstances surrounding the firing to determine exactly what happened during the dispute.
