A sudden fire broke out at a Canara Bank branch located in Sector 1 of Awas Vikas Colony, on Bodla-Jagdishpura Road in Agra. The fire is believed to have started because of a short circuit in the building’s electrical system.

The incident happened during business hours when many customers were present inside the bank. According to eyewitnesses, thick smoke and flames were seen rising, which created a sense of panic among the bank staff and customers. People started rushing out of the building to save their lives. Thankfully, the bank employees acted quickly and safely evacuated everyone from the premises.
As soon as the fire was noticed, the local authorities were informed. Fire brigade vehicles reached the scene promptly and began efforts to bring the fire under control. Police also arrived to help manage the crowd and ensure safety in the area.
Fortunately, there were no reports of injuries or casualties at the time of reporting. The cause of the fire is suspected to be a short circuit, but a full investigation will be carried out to confirm the reason.
