Again a video related to bank has gone viral on social media. In video, a female bank employee can be seen crying alleging harassment from Canara Bank.

In the video, she said that she even tried to submit resignation but her resignation was also not accepted.

This is the second video that has gone viral on social media. Earlier, a 29 Year Old Girl named Vani left Job at PNB Bank due to Toxic Work Culture.

“Even though this job made me financially independent and improved my standard of living, my mind never felt at ease. It is a mentally draining and thankless job,” she said in the video.

Vani said – “I had slowly started hating the person I was becoming,” she said, adding, “I used to be such a happy-go-lucky person, but in the past three years, I have become so grumpy and easily annoyed.” “So it was time to choose mental peace over financial stability.”

  1. Why top executives are harassing their juniors for their promotions. Take employees on humanitarian ground. They will give life and work for you

  3. I don’t accept her views.
If you are in job, work pressure will always be there.
I have worked in nationalised bank. Highest pressure.
If you don’t have capability to manage work pressure, how can you survive?
    You won’t survive anywhere?
If she is the Employer whether she will not yield any pressure on her employees?
Can she explain what was the level of pressure on her by Management?
I have completed 38 Years service in a Nationalised bank and elevated to top Executive from Clerical. Every day, Every minute, including holidays and even in nights also, I was cornered with pressure.
If the pressure level is beyond abnormal, it is her duty to approach her trade unions and discuss. Also can approach Top Management. Suicide or Resignation is not solution. If she feels that she can’t manage, then she can quit but without blaming anyone. No Employer will accept “whatever work you can do,that is enough”.

    • U r talking abt past days banking… Bt ne banking is totally different…. In ur days u have worked with abundant of staff…. Bt now there is staff shortage… May b 4 staff in a scale 2 branch… Don’t compare present day banking with past….

    • Such harassments are common in PSBs. What Associations and Unions are doing. HR sections have to take cognizance of such HR problems, the organisations are dealing with human beings, not animals. The lady has sought resignation, which is denied. Why?
Mr. Natarajan I have come across people like you. You consider yourself as super hero, when your are made to work like donkey and you had no guts to resist under pressure. Not to speak of office politics. Those who are weak will suffer. They need relief.

    • Their is certain limit for everything….even machines break when limits are crossed. So things have almost crossed the limits.ie staff shortage , daily targets many more.

    • Mr. Natarajan, remember one thing, she is a lady staff. She has to work in office and also at home for family. In your entire life you must have worked for yourself and only for yourself doing lots of chamchagiri for the management. In PSB only chamchas like you get fast promotions from clerical to executive level. After working for 15 years in Scale-I that too after handling corporate credit I was denied promotion twice for Scale-II. That was because I never did chamchagiri.

    • Disagree with your views
Those days was the Golden Days of Banking
I am telling you that You Can’t survive for a week or may be a day in current scenario Banking
So whenever trying to give openion give hom st openion

  4. Mr Natarajan retired as executive but you must understand the feelings and the way present management is harassing irrespective of cadre and gender your time and culture is passed at present day the rude culture is prevailing in all sphere your words are matured but youngster has to go all hardlines

  5. Mr Natrajan ji… the moment u said that u completed 38 yrs service and climbed the ladder from clerk to top executive…. we understand which generation of banker u are…. i belong to a generation of banker who have worked with u as yongster just when you all were getting retired… i have clearly seen both generation…
And Belive me sir… Bank work culture has drastically changed… I know how your generation people worked… it was paradise for you… now same banking has become hell… its really toxic… and again belive me… i am damn sure you could not have survived in banking for that 38 yrs if this work culture and pressure existed during your time… mind it.

  6. Worst Indian banking no Job rotation for agriculture officer in canara bank . AEOs are suffering a lot for job rotation/conversion specialist cadre to general cadre.

  7. No job rotation for agriculture officer in canara bank agriculture officers working in same cadre since 10 year no rotation/ no conversion still happen. Many public sector bank are given conversion to agriculture officer as per DFS guideline.

  8. Good.
People like Natrajan are boss now … Who have brought the banking industry to hell.
Can you explain, if you had worked well, why the banks have turned to hell ?
Yes, I can. It’s because you people never worked and now you wanted everyone to work like Superman.

  9. Before opting for promotion, one should ( especially women because of their some physical disability & family responsibilities) think twice. Once you go up in career you should be prepared to bear the tension, harassment of superiors & should have the capacity to achieve the targets/ show the results to the satisfaction of your higher ups. If you feel it is not possible to show your output to the satisfaction of your superiors despite your best efforts then you should quit /request fordemotion
