Female Bank Employee kidnapped in Faridabad while going Home from Office

Faridabad: A shocking incident took place near the Hanuman Temple close to Bata Metro Station on Friday evening around 7:15 PM, where a woman employee of a bank was abducted by criminals in a car. The police have registered a case against four people. The name of bank has not been revealed due to privacy concerns.
Shailesh Kumar, a resident of Subhash Colony, reported that his daughter Manisha works in a bank located in Sector 16. On Friday evening, after finishing her work, Manisha was riding home on a scooty with her colleague Harish. As they reached near Bata Metro Station and the Hanuman Temple, a car with four men stopped them suddenly. The men forcefully kidnapped Manisha from the spot.
After the kidnapping, Shailesh tried to call his daughter. She managed to answer the call and told him in panic that Lakhan, a man from Bhulwana village in Hodal, was kidnapping her at gunpoint. She said that she was being taken away by force in the car. As per reports, Lakhan is said to be her husband.
During the incident, Harish, her colleague, tried to stop the kidnappers, but he was beaten up and injured by the men in the car.
The Police have started investigation and an First Information Report (FIR) has been registered against Lakhan (the main accused) and four other unidentified people. As of now, Manisha has not yet been found, and the search operation is underway.
A case has been registered against the woman’s husband. Manisha and Lakhan got married around two years ago in Ghaziabad through a love marriage. However, their relationship soon started facing problems, and things did not go well between them. As a result, the couple is now involved in a divorce case that is currently ongoing in court.
