Cooperative Bank Employees will also be on strike from 28 to 30 September 2026.
All India Cooperative Bank Employees Federation is an affiliated unit of All India Bank Employees Association, which is a part of the United Forum of Bank Unions (UFBU). Thus, the federation has decided to participate fully in the strike in protest against the anti-worker policies of the Government.
Accordingly, in many states the branches/ head office of cooperative banks will remain closed during the strike period, and no work will be carried out in line with the UFBU call and union resolution.
Cooperative Bank Employees in following states will be on strike – Andhra Pradesh, Arunchal Pradesh, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Mizoram, Manipur, Telangana, Jharkhand, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Odisha, Punjab.
