Coin Week Russia: Exchange coins for Bank notes, Know All Details!!

Russia is organising a coin week. During the said period, people will be able to exchange coins for banknotes at bank offices and stores participating in the event. It will also be possible to deposit coins in bank accounts.

The event will take place between 6 and 18 April 2026. Over 16,000 stores and 4,000 bank offices across Russia will take part in the Coin Week.

The Coin Week has been held across Russia since 2023. Over this period, Russians have returned to circulation over 215 million coins worth almost ₽956 million (1 Ruble = 1.18 INR).

In 2023, 20 million coins worth 84 million rubles were exchanged. In 2024, 76 million coins worth 320 million rubles were exchanged. In 2025, 107 million coins worth 487 million rubles were exchanged.
