CLC calls UFBU for meeting over Strike on 11 September

The Office of the Chief Labour Commissioner (Central) has called a conciliation meeting over the strike notice served by the United Forum of Bank Unions (UFBU). The meeting will be held on September 7, 2026, at 11:30 AM at Shramev Jayate Bhawan, Sector 10, Dwarka, New Delhi.

The UFBU, which includes seven bank unions — AIBEA, AIBOC, NCBE, AIBOA, BEFI, INBOC and INBEF — has announced strikes on September 11, September 28 to September 30, and an indefinite strike from October 26, 2026.
