CCTV Video: PNB Bank Cashier attacked Customer with Scissors in Karnal Haryana

Recently, a shocking incident took place in the Nilokheri branch of Punjab National Bank (PNB) in Karnal district, Haryana. A customer said that he had gone to deposit money in PNB branch but was attacked with scissors by the bank’s cashier. First watch the CCTV Video below 👇

The name of the bank customer is Pawan Kumar and he said that he was standing in the queue like other customers. When his turn came, the cashier refused to accept his deposit, saying the time for accepting cash was over after 4 pm. This led to an argument between Bank cashier and customer.

Pawan says he tried to explain his situation and requested the cashier to deposit the money politely. But instead of listening, the cashier, identified as Ajay Kumar, lost his temper. Suddenly, he picked up a pair of scissors lying nearby and attacked Pawan on his right hand. The injury was deep and started bleeding heavily.
The bank manager quickly stepped in and tried to calm things down. He immediately took Pawan, who was covered in blood, to a hospital for treatment. After the incident, the cashier Ajay Kumar left the bank.

The bank customer has filed a complaint about the incident at the local police station in Nilokheri. The police have taken the case seriously. The police are checking CCTV footage from the bank to find out exactly what happened.
But, on analysing the CCTV Video, it can be clearly seen that the bank cashier was not initially at fault. He politely requested customer not to deposit money as time was over 4 pm. He repeatedly requested customer but customer kept on forcing him to deposit money. The customer even threw the money and cash deposit slip in Cashier’s cabin but still cashier behaved properly. But at last, cashier resorted to using scissors which shows the high frustration level of cashier towards the bank customer.
The use of scissors shows that the bank customer had irritated cashier so much that he had to use an object in his protection and for replying to customer. The customer could have easily talked to branch manager and explained his issue to him instead of forcing cashier to deposit money. Whatever may be the trigger, cashier should have responded professionally instead of resorting to such extreme step.I think bank will find fault & punish him
We always see the last part of scene. You see what instigated him to take such step. Agar mirchi dalte hi jaoge to kuch to result aayega! Or you think who is sitting since 10 am he has no anger no feelings, he is always kooool! Everyone can not be Rama Krishna.

वीडियो में साफ दिख रहा है कि कैशियर ने बहुत बार पैसा लेने से मना किया, उसके वाबजूद ग्राहक द्वारा जोर जबरजस्ती कर पैसा जमा करने की कोशिश की गई है।।
जब कैशियर समझा बुझा कर थक गया तो उसने यह कदम उठाया है, आखिर वो भी एक इंसान है, मशीन नहीं।।
मशीन को भी जल्दी जल्दी कमांड देने पर System Experiencing overload बता देता है फिर ये तो एक इंसान ही है।।
In this case the Cashier could has asked to go to the Acctt or BM and request them to resolve the issue rather than use scissors because as per IPC the cashier may be booked under attempt to murder.
It was very short cut method to resolve a small issue because either BM would request to the cashier or refused him to deposit.
Now cashier proved himself right, while he was wrong because of forcing and irritating the cashier.
Cashier is not at fault.cashier should also go once to manager to discuss the issue
Very sad news after seen the video the cashier of branch no fault but customer false blame against cashier this is not justified so banks duty to save the staff

Customer is not at fault. Any customer who has entered the bank premises before 4 PM has the right to deposit cash and it is obligatory on the part of head cashier to receive his cash.
It is defined in bank guidelines. Here cashier is wrong in refusing ro accept cash.
The customer has to be in cash deposit que before 4’o clock, then only cashier will accept the cash. If no one is there in que by 4, cashier is not liable to accept cash.
Regulation is not for cash deposit. If any cash is accepted after 4:00 PM, it is not insured. in case of any robbery, the cashier is personally responsible for the loss of uninsured cash. Also the serving customer who entered premises before 4:00 pm is for non-cash transactions.

Absolutely right. Any peaceful provocation doesn’t give anyone right to assault a customer with a lethal iron object. The cashier has not complied with bank’s rules and thus needs to be penalised for going against rules & taking law in his own hands.

Hurting some one is absolutely wrong but the point is why customer has created such situation, on approaching to counter cashier did not do the things ,after provoking at high level cashier has lost his control. Both of them should be warned. No separate action should be taken against cashier.
Throw Indian currency must be treated as Offence and customer must be punish.
Cashier is also a human being, On continuously abuse by customer create mental disturbance
Bank cashier is not at all fault. He has been compelled to take such step. Every thing has some limit and customer has taken it guaranted that bank employees are liable to do as per customers wish. And this is the impact of that
Even if he is not guilty,the bank will still punish him whether is is the staff’s fault or not.
Cause & effect relationship. Cause is cashier refused which he is not supposed to as customer is present in the branch before 4pm. No customer will be violent unless situation warrants. he must have requested. It’s cashier’s fault – attempted murder
Customer has created the situation for making cashier uncomfortable. He repeatedly irritated cashier.
Lack of professionalism. The situation should have been dealt in a better way either by depositing cash or by refusing to deposit of cash. Bank should initiate action against erring cashier.

There is some kind of triggering behind this incident which is not known. Sometimes notorious idle customers mostly come around 4 pm or lunch time to create scene. Staff should not have caused physical injury and could hv handled customer with maturity. Staff should respect customers. Customer also should respect the dignity of employees. In corporate competition customers stoops to new lows everyday because sometimes banks tolerate their bullshit for business or just to avoid scene.
This customer was trying to be over smart but he got the medicine what he deserved. He has the face of the prominent KCC defaulters.
Here cashier in not guilty. Customer is forcing him to deposit the cash beyond transaction time limit, which is against the banking law. As per RBI Cash insurance, It is up to 4 PM. If any ROBBERY happen after 4 PM THEN cashier has to pay all money. It is very tough to survive in banking sector now days. # save bank employees
Here cashier is not guilty, customer is forcing him to take his deposit after transaction timing and irritating him and this is happened because of that frustration which is created by customer and now customer is playing victim card
This is the totally fault of the customer as he repeatedly forcing the cashier to deposit the money also in cctv footage it very clear that the customer is also misbehaving with the cashier and such type of activities at sensitive place like cash counter is not acceptable because it may lead to theft or loot of the money customer must be dealt seriously and to be punished by the law

यहां पर देखने का नजरिया सबका अलग अलग हो सकता है लेकिन जहां से मैं देख रहा हूं किसी को गलत काम करने के लिए मजबूर करना करने वाले से ज्यादा गुनहगार कराने बाला होता है। यहां पर ग्राहक दोषी है बाकी भारतीय न्याय संहिता है कोर्ट फैसला करेगा। लेकिन जो ग्राहक ने किया वो गलत किया।
