Financial Services Institutions Bureau (FSIB) invites applications from qualified candidates for the position of Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer (MD & CEO) in Canara Bank on full-time basis. Canara Bank MD&CEO Eligibility Criteria
- Age: The applicant should be in the age group of 45 to 57 years as on June 23,
2025. - Experience/Service requirement: The applicant should have at least 15 years
of mainstream banking experience, of which at least one year should at the Board
Level as on June 23, 2025. - Other Requirements:
a. Person of ability, integrity and standing with knowledge and experience in
Banking.
b. Proven management, leadership and innovative skills to build and inspire team.
c. Experience of institutional development in banking sector.
Canara Bank MD&CEO Tenure
The assignment shall be for an initial term of three years and may be extended based on performance, subject to the normal age of superannuation of 60 years and as per the provisions of the Nationalised Banks (Management and Miscellaneous Provisions) Scheme, 1970 & 1980.
Canara Bank MD&CEO Salary
The post of MD & CEO, Canara Bank carries Pay Scale of ₹2,05,400 – ₹2,24,400/- [Level 16] plus allowances as admissible to Chief Executive of Public Sector Banks from time to time.
