Recently, a Canara Bank employee resigned, but what drew attention was the uniqueness of his resignation letter. His resignation email suggests he was deeply frustrated with the bank, especially its transfer policy.

Employees are expressing their views on X (formerly Twitter).
He must be very lucky to get a secured job in a Nationalised Bank, do not know the hardships faced by employees working in Private Organizations.

It’s the order of the day in Banking system. It needs to be overhauled but inside bossism is the biggest problem to which officers are generally subjected
Really frustrating, HR needs to address staff problems on a case to case basis not a blanket rule that doesn’t help the staff nor the mgmt.
A quick decision in a spur of moment. Right from 1973 when I joined Canara Bank myself and other friends of mine witnessed partiality in the matter of postings, promotions and punishment transfers in the guise of administrative exigencies.
But with patience one can overcome these obstacles.(I retired in 2010 on superannuation)
Quitting on account of transfer/ not getting promotion is not a correct remedy unless you have the alternative to come up in life for taking care of family
Management should consider genuine requests of employees. Now days new generation don’t want bossism. They should post or transfer the employees to the nearest place of residence for productivity not for harrasment.
The bank should put in place employee friendly work atmosphere and culture to address new generation employee aspirations . This is in line with it’s corporate goal achievement also .
Absolutely toxic work culture in Axis Bank due to few managers and senior managers who think they are the very gifts to mankind from God’s own hand!
