The Central Government has approved wage revisions for employees of Public Sector General Insurance companies (PSGICs) and the National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD), as well as pension revisions for retirees of the RBI and NABARD.
- 43,247 staff of public sector insurance companies get 12.41% hike + enhancement in NPS contribution + family pension for 14615 family pensioners at a uniform rate of 30%.
- 3,800 NABARD staff get 20% pay hike + Pension / Family pension of 726 NABARD retirees (retired before 1 Nov 2017) aligned with ex-RBI, NABARD retirees.
- 30,769 RBI pensioners /family pensioners pension revised with effect from 01 Nov 2022 with a 10% hike.
- Relief for over 93000 employees & pensioners / family pensioners, reaffirming commitment to social security & dignity.
