A female bank officer has been murdered in broad daylight in a posh area of Lucknow. At 12 noon on Thursday, a man called her and asked her to come outside ICICI Bank. The accused spoke with her for a while, then shot her and fled.
Hearing the gunshot, bank employees and nearby residents rushed to the scene. The woman was taken to a nearby hospital, where doctors declared her dead. The entire incident was captured on CCTV.
The incident occurred outside ICICI Bank, 200 meters from the Gomti Nagar police station. Upon receiving information about the incident, officers arrived at the scene. A forensic team is investigating the case.
The bank officer, Divya Mishra, was an assistant manager at ICICI Bank and lived in Alambagh. A year ago, she had filed a divorce petition with her husband, Manas. Police are investigating the case and more details will be released soon.
