In the meeting of the Nainital Bank Staff Association held in Govardhan Sabha Ghar, Mallital on Sunday, the officials of the Nainital Bank Staff Association convened a meeting.
The chief guest was Mr. Janak Rawal, Secretary of the All India Bank of Baroda Coordination Committee, and the special guest was Mr. Rajneesh Gupta.
The speakers mentioned that Nainital Bank has a 98.57% shareholding by the Bank of Baroda.
Therefore, if the Bank of Baroda privatizes Nainital Bank, it would be an unfair decision, affecting the public and employees.
They assured the employees that the Bank of Baroda Coordination Committee stands shoulder to shoulder with the employees.
Employees stated that if Nainital Bank is privatized, it will directly impact the employees. Prominent attendees at this event included Praveen Sah, Abhay Gupta, Hemant Bisht, Shailendra Negi, Mukesh Pant, Hemant Bisht, and others.
