Bhogaon Bank Robbery Update: Doctor skipped Hearing in murder case of 3 SBI Bank Employees

The Bhogaon bank robbery case remains unresolved as it continues in the Special Judge Robbery Court in Mainpuri, Uttar Pradesh. A crucial development occurred on Saturday when the doctor who conducted the postmortem failed to appear in court for testimony.

The case dates back to January 28, 2003, when a terrifying robbery took place at the State Bank of India on GT Road in Bhogaon. On that night, robbers broke into the bank, tragically killing three employees: cashier RK Gupta, accountant MC Agarwal, and security guard Shivraj Singh. The criminals managed to escape with a staggering Rs 88.20 lakh from the bank’s cash chest.

The robbery was reported by another bank security guard, Girish Chandra Dubey. The deceased employees lived in apartments above the bank premises.

The case is being heard by Special Judge Robbery, Indira Singh. So far, the plaintiff and the investigator have testified, but the case still awaits the testimony of the doctor who performed the postmortem on the victims.

Since the doctor did not show up for the scheduled testimony on Saturday, a new notice has been issued. The court has now set the next date for August 16, hoping that the doctor will be available to provide the necessary evidence.
