The team safely captured the snake and released it into the forest. The team said that during the rainy season, snakes often look for dry and warm places, and can enter into vehicles, homes, or shops.

Can Snakes enter Cars, Houses in Rainy Season?
Yes, snakes can enter cars, houses, and even shops during the rainy season. Heavy rains often flood their natural hiding places such as burrows, holes, and bushes, forcing them to search for warm, dry shelters. Vehicles and homes provide such safe spots, with cars offering warmth in the engine area and houses having quiet corners or storage spaces. Snakes may also be attracted by the presence of prey like frogs, lizards, and rodents, which tend to move closer to human spaces in wet weather. Open doors, windows, gaps, or parking near grassy and wooded areas increase the chances of snakes accidentally entering. This is why monsoon season requires extra caution, especially in regions near fields, forests, or waterlogged areas.
You should follow below mentioned Precautionary Steps to stay safe:
- Keep surroundings clean – Remove tall grass, piles of wood, and clutter around your home or parking area.
- Seal entry points – Close gaps under doors, windows, or walls; use door sweeps and mesh screens.
- Park safely – Avoid parking cars near dense vegetation, drains, or waterlogged areas.
- Check vehicles – Inspect under the car, near tires, and inside the engine bay before starting, especially after long parking hours.
- Stay alert indoors – Keep floors and corners well-lit; avoid walking barefoot in dark areas.
- Avoid attracting prey – Control rodent and insect problems that may draw snakes closer.
- Call experts – If you see a snake, do not try to handle it yourself; call a trained rescue team.
- In case of a bite – Remain calm, immobilize the affected area, and seek immediate medical help.
