Bank Union Leaders are demanding resignation of AIBOC and AIBEA GS

Top Bank Union Leaders are demanding resignation of GS of AIBOC and AIBEA. AIPNBOA OGS Shri Amandeep Singh has openly demanded resignation of General Secretary of AIBOC – Shri Rupam Roy and General Secretary of AIBEA – Shri CH Venkatachalam.

The resignation demand comes amidst the withdrawal of Bank strike from 28 to 30 September 2026. UFBU suddenly deferred strike on Sunday night and the incident has created a chaos in the banking industry.

Bankers on social media are asking resignation of GS of AIBOC and AIBEA. As per sources, General Secretary of unions affiliated to AIBOC and AIBEA are planning to demand for change in leadership of UFBU.
