Bank Strike on 19 and 20 January has been cancelled by Bank Union

AIBEA has announced that the bank strike scheduled on 19 and 20 January 2024 has been cancelled. The purpose of strike was to prevent recruitment of outsourcing staff in banks.

As per the official communication released by AIBEA, the adjourned conciliation meeting on strike notice was held by CLS in Delhi. During the proceedings, IBA reiterated that since the issue of recruitment is part of the charter of demands, it would be discussed with AIBEA/UFBU.

CLC also advised and IBA agreed to issue a circular to banks to maintain status quo in outsourcing.
