On Monday morning, a daring robbery took place at the Punjab National Bank in Patna, where 22 lakhs were stolen. According to reports, 3 to 4 criminals executed the heist. These individuals entered the bank, located in Koraiya village of the Paliganj Dulhin Bazar police station area, pretending to be customers.

Once inside, they suddenly brandished weapons and took the bank staff and other customers hostage. The robbers then locked everyone in the bank’s kitchen and forced the employees to open the locker by threatening them with pistols. After securing 22 lakhs rupees from the locker, the criminals fled the scene on a black Apache bike.

The police arrived at the scene shortly after the incident and began their investigation. Customer Suresh, who was present during the robbery, recounted the frightening experience. He said that the criminals, wearing masks, entered the bank, pushed everyone aside at gunpoint, and locked them in a room with the bank employees.

SSP Rajiv Mishra confirmed the robbery and stated that the masked attackers entered the bank between 10 and 10:30 AM. According to the bank manager, the total amount stolen was Rs 22 lakh. The criminals also took the DVR from the bank’s security system, making it harder to trace their movements. However, the police are currently examining nearby CCTV footage and trying to identify their escape route.
