Rohtak: A case has come to light involving the attack on a regional manager of a bank in town. The name of bank has not been revealed due to privacy concerns. The victim, named Sumit, who lives in Farmana Badshahpur, has reported the incident to the police. Sumit works as a regional manager for a bank located at Gohana, and his job often requires him to travel around.
According to his complaint, Sumit had a dispute with some local youths on June 7 in the village. Although the matter was settled in a village meeting (Panchayat), the youths still held a grudge against him. On August 28, around 4:30 in the evening, four or five youths confronted him and began to beat him. It is claimed that they used a belt during the attack, resulting in injuries to his eyes and face. As people started to gather, the attackers fled.
