UFBU (United Forum of Bank Unions) has revealed the hashtag for the protest campaign of social media. Today the social media campaign will start from 8:30 AM. The hastag is #unitedwestand. Earlier, on 21st February, protests were held by Bank Employees across the India.
The Bank Employees are protesting against the non-fulfillment of their demands such as 5 Day Banking, adequate recruitment of staff and other demands. UFBU has released a structured agitation programme and announced bank strike on 24 and 25 March 2025.
The associations have released following guidelines for the social media campaigns and have asked the employees to follow these guidelines to make the campaign successful. The campaign aims to bring nationwide attention to the unfulfilled demands of banking employees through coordinated digital activism.

✅ Engage with leadership tweets – Members must quote, repost, like, and comment on posts from AIBOC and top leaders.
✅ Pre-draft 10-15 tweets – This ensures rapid and consistent posting.
✅ Use only one hashtag per tweet – To avoid dilution of visibility.
✅ Avoid multiple hashtags in a single tweet – This prevents classification as spam.
✅ Share authentic content only – No misleading images or information.
✅ Pan-India participation is essential – A nationwide effort will strengthen the movement.
✅ Unique tweets matter – Copy-pasting reduces engagement and visibility.
✅ Tag influential accounts to maximize reach.
Key Handles to Tag:
@FinMinIndia | @nsitharaman | @DFS_India | @RBI | @dir_ed | @DIPAM_India | @NITIAayog | @PMOIndia | @LabourMinistry | @PensionPFIndia
Strategy to Make the Hashtag Trend Quickly:

🚀 Engage with leaders’ tweets – More visibility leads to more impact.
🚀 Reply to trending posts using the hashtag – This expands the campaign’s reach.
