Mumbai, May 2025: India’s second largest public sector Bank – Bank of Baroda has won four major awards at the 12th India Fraud Risk Summit and Awards 2025, held recently in Mumbai. These awards reflect the bank’s strong efforts to prevent and fight fraud through innovation, awareness, and strong leadership.
The awards highlight how the bank is working hard to protect its customers and reduce the risk of fraud through new technology, education programs, and a strong risk management system.

Awards Received by Bank of Baroda:
- Chief Risk Officer (CRO) of the Year
- Awarded for strong leadership and building a solid system to handle and prevent fraud.
- Fraud Risk Champion of the Year
- Given to the bank’s team for their innovative work in stopping fraud and improving safety.
- Excellence in Fraud Awareness and Education Programme
- For running effective campaigns to educate customers and staff on how to avoid fraud.
- Combatting Fraud – Technology Innovation of the Year
- Recognised for using advanced technology, like the Digitise EDD process, to detect and reduce fraud.
The awards were received by Shri Ravindra Singh Negi, the Chief Risk Officer of Bank of Baroda. The ceremony was attended by several industry leaders and experts, making this a proud moment for the bank.
