Nature of Employment
Your engagement under the contract as an Officer on Contractual Basis (OCB) is for an initial period of three years starting from the date you join the Bank. It may be renewed or extended for up to two additional years based on your satisfactory performance and at the Bank’s discretion. Your engagement will automatically end when the contract expires unless it is renewed or extended. However, the engagement is valid only until you reach the age of 60 years (except for the position of Chief Defence Banking) or until the end of the contract term, whichever comes earlier.
Credit History
Candidates applying for these positions must maintain a satisfactory credit history. A minimum CIBIL score of 680 or above is required at the time of joining, and this requirement may change as per the Bank’s policy. Candidates who have defaulted on loan or credit card repayments, or whose names appear with adverse remarks in CIBIL or any other credit rating agencies, will be considered ineligible for appointment. The Bank also reserves the right to reject a candidate at any stage, even after joining, if their credit profile is found to be unsatisfactory or below the Bank’s standards.
Selection Process
The selection process may include an online test, a psychometric test, or any other test considered suitable, followed by a Group Discussion and/or Interview for candidates who qualify in the online test. The Psychometric Test, Group Discussion and/or Interview will assess the candidate’s personality, communication skills, clarity of thought, problem-solving ability, innovation, efficiency, readiness to work anywhere in the country, and overall suitability for the post. The Bank reserves the right to change, modify, add, or cancel any part of the selection criteria, the selection method or process, and the provisional allotment at any stage.
