State-owned Bank of Baroda has signed an agreement with Garhwal Mandal Vikas Nigam (GMVN) to provide a specially designed salary account package for the employees of GMVN. This new initiative is aimed at offering better banking benefits and financial convenience to GMVN staff.

The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was officially signed by key representatives from both organizations:

- Shri Bharat Chandra, General Manager, GMVN
The signing ceremony also saw the presence of senior officials:
- Shri Vishal Mishra (IAS), Managing Director, GMVN
- Shri Arvind Joshi, Deputy General Manager & Regional Head, Bank of Baroda (Dehradun Region)

About Garhwal Mandal Vikas Nigam (GMVN)
GMVN is a public sector undertaking (PSU) under the Government of Uttarakhand. It was established on March 31, 1976, with the goal of promoting tourism and development in the Garhwal region of Uttarakhand. Today, GMVN operates with:
- An authorised capital of Rs. 40 crore
- A dedicated team of over 1,200 employees
- A network of more than 90 guesthouses and tourist bungalows across the Garhwal region
