A woman named Nagma, the wife of Rukhsar Mansuri, the branch manager of Bank of Baroda in Pritampura, Delhi, was a victim of a chain-snatching incident in Ghaziabad’s Indirapuram area. The crime took place outside the Supertech Icon Society while Nagma was returning from shopping with her sister and child.
According to reports, Nagma stopped at a shop near the society to buy a trophy for the children. At that moment, two bike-borne criminals, who had been loitering around the area, approached her. One of the miscreants attempted to snatch Nagma’s gold chain. However, the chain broke and got tangled in her clothes. In the chaos, the miscreant pushed Nagma, causing her to fall and injuring her face and forehead.
The entire incident was captured on the CCTV cameras installed at the location. ACP Indirapuram, Abhishek Srivastava, confirmed that a case has been registered based on the victim’s complaint. He assured that police teams have been formed to track down the accused, and authorities are confident that the miscreants will be arrested soon.
