Bank Manager robbed at a Dhaba in Pali, Attacked with sticks and looted Rs 25,000
An incident of attack and robbery on a bank manager has come to light in Sanderao police station area of Pali. A 31-year-old bank manager and his friend had stopped at the dhaba to have tea. During this, four people attacked both of them with sticks and rods and looted Rs 25,000 and a mobile phone.
SHO Bharat Singh of Sanderao police station said- Ashok Kumar (31), son of Champalal, resident of Busi village, gave the report. In the report, Ashok Kumar told that he is the manager of Bank of Baroda branch Sumerpur Road Pali. The skin of his stomach and thighs is undergoing treatment at Pooja Skin Clinic in Palanpur, Gujarat. For this, he had gone to Palanpur with his friend Ghanshyam on the morning of 23 December.
At around 11 pm on 23 December, he reached the toll plaza near Sanderao and stopped at a dhaba there to drink tea. When he asked the hotel operator about tea, he asked how many people there were. When told that there were two people, a boy sitting there attacked him. When his friend Ghanshyam came to his rescue, he was also beaten.
Ashok told – 4 miscreants brutally beat him with sticks and rods and looted 25 thousand rupees and mobile phones kept in the car. The victim manager has registered a case against the accused at Sanderao police station. The police is investigating the case. Ashok Kumar told in the report – When we started going towards the car while avoiding the attackers, the miscreant called someone. After this, two more people came, stopped them and beat them with rods and sticks. This resulted in injuries on the stomach and thighs.
The miscreants took my bank phone and tried to get me to talk to someone by opening the lock. Another miscreant snatched the keys of the car and brought the car near the dhaba and started talking about burning the car. Then when a miscreant signaled, he gave the car keys and mobile phone and left from there.
A purse was kept in the car from which Rs 25,000 were also taken. In this case, Sanderao SHO Bharat Singh said that based on the manager’s report, a case has been registered and investigation has been started. Preliminary investigation revealed that there was an argument between him and the dhaba operator over some issue.
