
In Kurthijafarpur Nagar Panchayat, located in the Kopaganj police station area of Mau, a case of misbehavior with the manager of Baroda UP Bank has recently come to light. The incident involved the manager who had gone to recover a bank loan and had his mobile phone snatched. The manager has filed a case against two individuals at the local police station regarding this matter, and the police are currently investigating the case.
Details of the Incident
The incident took place at the branch of Baroda UP Bank in Kurthijafarpur. Ashish Kumar, the manager of the bank and son of Lallan from Gadwar, Ballia, was allegedly visiting the home of Santosh Kannaujiya, a resident of Kurthijafarpur, to collect the loan. While the manager was on the phone with his superior, making his mother speak to them, two individuals identified as Santosh’s brothers, Rahul and Ramsagar, arrived at the scene. They snatched the manager’s mobile phone, threw it away, and proceeded to verbally abuse the bank manager.
Complaint and Police Involvement
The bank manager promptly lodged a complaint at the police post in Kurthijafarpur. When the police arrived to investigate the matter, both of the accused individuals began verbally abusing and physically assaulting the policeman with a shovel. Thankfully, the situation was brought under control with the help of other people present.
Police Investigation
Shailesh Singh, the in-charge of the Kopaganj police station, has stated that a case has been registered against the two individuals based on the bank manager’s complaint. The police are actively investigating the matter to gather further information and evidence related to the incident.
