On Tuesday, April 29, 2025, banks in Himachal Pradesh will remain closed in observance of Parshuram Jayanti, commemorating the birth of Lord Parshuram, the sixth incarnation of Lord Vishnu. This festival holds significant cultural and religious importance in the state.

Parshuram Jayanti is celebrated on the Tritiya of Shukla Paksha in the month of Vaishakh according to the Hindu calendar.
