Bank Employees must stay alert
This email seems to be genuine but this email is a phishing email.
A phishing email is a fake email sent by scammers to trick people into sharing personal or financial information. These emails may look like they are from a bank, company, government department, or another trusted organisation.
They may ask you to click a link, enter your password, share an OTP, or provide bank or card details. Some phishing emails may also contain harmful attachments and may steal your private data.
Therefore, bank employees should stay alert and avoid clicking on external links in emails. Banks use official domains such as sbi.bank.in or pnb.bank.in. If an email comes from an official domain ending with @pnb.bank.in, it is more likely to be genuine. However, employees should still be careful and should not click on links if they have any doubt about the email.
