Government Bank Employees started protest on 14th February against non-fulfillment of demands by the government. The Bank Employees are angry over non-implementation of 5 days banking. It’s going to be 1 year since the 12th BPS was signed, but till now 5 day banking has not been introduced by the government.
It has been reported that the proposal of 5 day banking is lying with the central government and is awaiting approval from the government. But the delay in implementation is raising questions ⁉️
Thus Bank Employees have finally resorted to strike. A two day strike has been announced on 24 and 25 March 2025 and the Agitation program has started from 14th February 2025.
