A case has been registered at the Kotwali police station in connection with an assault on a sales officer working at the Bandhan Bank branch in Nagaur. As per police reports, Mahesh Bana, a resident of Bhadana Bana, stated in his complaint that he was drinking tea at a tea stall located in front of the bank when the incident occurred.

Suddenly, Khemaram, son of Shivkaran and a resident of Sheelgaon, arrived at the spot along with 8 to 10 companions on motorcycles. As soon as he reached, Khemaram started abusing Mahesh and then physically attacked him using kicks, punches, and slaps. The others who came with him also joined in the assault. Due to the beating, Mahesh suffered internal injuries. Witnesses, including Dinesh Meghwal and others, intervened and somehow managed to rescue him.

Mahesh further revealed that Khemaram had earlier brought several villagers to the bank to open accounts. These individuals included Nemaram, Khivraj, Riddhkaran, Ganpat, Sunil Sain, and Tarachand. Khemaram had reportedly kept the passbooks and important account details of these people with him. Later, he allegedly made unauthorized or suspicious transactions in their accounts.

When Mahesh came to know about this and raised objections, accusing Khemaram of fraud, it angered him. This grudge led to the violent incident and the assault on Mahesh. Police have initiated an investigation into the matter based on Mahesh’s report.
