Axis Bank Officer Dies by Suicide in Jharkhand

Latehar, Jharkhand: Mithilesh Kumar Thakur, who was working as the Operations Head at Axis Bank’s Mahuadanr branch in Latehar district, Jharkhand, has tragically died by suicide. The incident happened late Saturday night.

Mithilesh was living in a rented house near Mahuadanr bus stand, owned by Raju Kumar. On Saturday night, he was found hanging from a ceiling fan in his room. Local villagers, upon discovering the incident, immediately informed the police.

Mithilesh was originally from the Digha area in Patna, Bihar. His father’s name is Brij Bihari Thakur. He was married and had two young children. The news of his death has shocked both the local community and his family.

As soon as the information reached them, Mahuadanr police station in-charge Manoj Kumar arrived at the spot with his team and started the investigation. He said that that the reason behind the suicide is not yet known.

According to the police officer, the actual cause will become clearer after the postmortem report is received. The family has been informed, and the body has been sent to Latehar for postmortem examination.
