Now, you can get Vehicle Fitness Certificate online in a few easy steps. A Vehicle Fitness Certificate is an important document that confirms your vehicle is safe to use on public roads. It is mandatory for all vehicle owners to have a valid fitness certificate as per the Motor Vehicles Act of 1989. If you don’t have a fitness certificate, you may face government penalties.
A Vehicle Fitness Certificate is crucial for several reasons:
- It validates that your vehicle is in proper mechanical condition.
- If you fail to show the certificate during inspections, you may be penalized.
- The certificate helps identify old or aging vehicles that contribute to increased pollution. Unfit vehicles can be identified through the fitness certificate.
- It helps vehicle owners stay legally compliant with the law and avoid fines and other legal consequences.
