Some Staff Assistant vacancies are specifically reserved for in-service employees of Primary Agriculture Co-operative Societies (PACS) affiliated with the concerned DCCB. These candidates must meet the eligibility conditions prescribed in the notification.

APCOB Recruitment 2026 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates applying for APCOB Recruitment 2026 must satisfy the educational qualification, age limit and local candidate requirements prescribed for the respective post.

Since each DCCB recruits candidates for its own district, applicants must meet the local candidate requirements of the erstwhile district for which they are applying.

Generally, a candidate will be considered local if they have studied in an educational institution in the concerned local area for at least four consecutive academic years up to the SSC or equivalent examination.

Candidates who do not satisfy this condition may qualify based on residence in the local area for at least four years immediately before the SSC or equivalent examination. The notification also provides a seven-year study/residence criterion for certain cases.

APCOB Age Limit 2026

The age of candidates will be calculated as on 1 June 2026.

For open-market candidates applying for Staff Assistant or Assistant Manager posts, the minimum age is 20 years and the maximum age is 30 years.

PACS in-service candidates can receive relaxation up to 45 years for the OC category, with further category-wise relaxation subject to an overall maximum age of 50 years.

For in-service Cooperative/Commercial Bank employees, the maximum age after relaxation is 35 years for General, 38 years for BC and 40 years for SC/ST candidates.

APCOB Salary 2026

Selected candidates will receive salary according to the pay scale prescribed for their respective posts.

The approximate monthly emoluments include Dearness Allowance (DA) and House Rent Allowance (HRA) at current rates. Other allowances and benefits will be provided according to the service rules of the respective bank.

Selected candidates will also have to execute a Contract Bond of ₹2 lakh and agree to serve the bank continuously for a minimum period of two years. This condition applies to both Staff Assistant and Assistant Manager posts.

APCOB Application Fee 2026

The application fee is the same across all six DCCBs and must be paid online.

  • SC/ST/PwBD/Ex-Servicemen: ₹590/-
  • OC/BC/EWS: ₹826/-

The above fee is inclusive of GST. Bank transaction charges, if applicable, will have to be paid separately by the candidate.

The application fee can be paid through Debit Card, Credit Card, Internet Banking, IMPS, UPI or mobile wallets.

APCOB Recruitment 2026 Selection Process

The selection process for Staff Assistant and Assistant Manager open-market vacancies will be based on an online written examination followed by document verification and a medical fitness examination.

There is no interview for Staff Assistant or Assistant Manager posts.

APCOB Exam Pattern 2026

The online examination for open-market Staff Assistant and Assistant Manager candidates will consist of 200 questions carrying a total of 200 marks. Candidates will get 120 minutes to complete the examination.

There will be negative marking of 0.25 marks for every incorrect answer. No marks will be deducted for questions that are not attempted.

Exam Pattern for PACS In-Service Candidates

Candidates applying for Staff Assistant posts under the PACS quota will have a separate examination based on the working and functions of PACS.
