The All India Punjab National Bank Officers’ Federation (AIPNBOF) has asked all its members to strictly leave office or branches by 6 PM. AIPNBOF General Secretary has asked the PNB employees to work for only 8-hour a day.

The federation has reiterated the work rule “Kewal 8 Ghante Kaam Ke”, reinforcing that employees should not be expected to work beyond prescribed duty hours.

“If any day-end check or official instruction is placed by circle authorities to work beyond this time, comrades are requested to immediately bring the matter to my notice,” said Krishna Kumar (AIPNBOF General Secretary).

This decision has been taken by the federation to protect officers from excessive work pressure and ensure a healthy work-life balance. Recently, a Chief Manager working in Bank of Baroda committed suicide due to extreme work pressure. [Click here to read this news]

  1. Association should be like this.. really appreciate PNB Officers Association leaders for such a really bold step.. PNBian Officers please support your leaders as they really are the one Organisation in the whole banking in India who work for their members for the development of India and PNB

    1. How many members this association is having. Whether such call is given by the majority association? It’s not the question of single Bank. Entire Banking Industry has been infected with inhuman condition. Why AIBOC is silent? All the actions are confined to Association/Union Circulars only.
