AIBOC has disabled comments feature in a recent post uploaded on X (formerly Twitter). On 6 October 2026, AIBOC published a post regarding its 42nd Foundation Day.
The post listed various issues of Bank employees such as Toxic Work Culture, Increasing pressure, Suicides, etc.

But what came as a surprise was the disabling of comments section. Users are criticizing AIBOC for disabling the comments section. If comments section is disabled then how will common bankers express their opinions.
It seems AIBOC has disabled the comments section because bankers have been severely criticizing AIBOC and UFBU leaders for deferment of strike. After the strike was deferred, Bank employees are asking questions to AIBOC and UFBU leaders but these questions remain unanswered till date.
Users are requesting AIBOC to enable the comments section so that they can express their views and it’s the duty of AIBOC to read the opinions of bankers and work for the welfare of banking fraternity.
What AIBOC said on X
The post on X stated that October 6, 2026 will mark a significant date in the history of AIBOC as AIBOC will celebrate 41 years of its proud existence and step into its 42nd Foundation Day.
AIBOC said – However, today, we face unprecedented challenges in the banking sector. The aggressive push for privatization, relentless pressure for profitability, increased reliance on technology without proper safeguards, and the erosion of work-life balance are all redefining the relationship between banks and their employees. The relentless drive for targets, mounting workloads, and managerial insensitivity are placing immense pressure on officers. The tragic loss of our colleagues under such circumstances must awaken the conscience of the banking establishment and strengthen our resolve to resist all forms of exploitation and institutional indifference.
