LIC offers a lot of allowances to its employees. One of the allowance is New Cadre Special Allowance.
In the Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC), Cadre Allowance (often designated as Cadre Special Allowance or Special Allowance) is a fixed monthly salary component paid to employees and officers based on their operational cadre (such as Assistant Administrative Officer / AAO, Class I, or Class III/IV staff).
It is added to the starting basic pay along with Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), and City Compensatory Allowance (CCA) to calculate the gross monthly salary.
It is an allowance attached directly to the specific cadre level to supplement the basic pay structure without altering the primary pay scale.
