26 year old Female Police Constable Raped by Colleague, SI suspended and FIR Filed

A big incident of crime happened with female police constable. The woman constable posted in Jhansi was allegedly drugged and gang-raped by a sub-inspector and his friend.
They threatened to leak her explicit videos and also blackmailed her. The incident happened in Mathura and Jhansi between Feb 2023 and Jan this year,. The sub-inspector has been suspended and an FIR has been filed.
The constable has served in the police for over four years. After she filed the complaint, Jhansi SSP BBGTS Murthy said, “I have suspended the accused SI and directed Jhansi (city) DSP Ramvir Singh to initiate an internal probe.” Mathura (sadar) DSP Sandeep Kumar Singh, said, “An FIR has been filed under IPC sections 376D, 323 and 506 among others, and probe is underway.”
The 26-year-old constable alleged that the SI, aged 28, first assaulted her on the night of Feb 17 during a family wedding in Mathura. According to her complaint, he called her to a farmhouse room, gave her juice laced with intoxicants, raped her while she was unconscious, and recorded objectionable photos and videos. He then threatened to leak them and kill her family if she spoke out.
She said, “On June 22, 2023, the SI again summoned me to a hotel in Moradabad and, along with his 29-year-old friend and raped me. This time, too, I was forced to consume intoxicants and threatened with video circulation if I resisted.”
In another incident, the constable said the accused followed her while she was visiting a dermatologist in Jhansi on Jan 12. “He grabbed my hair, asked me for not taking his calls, pushed me to the ground and beat me, resulting in a fractured finger.
The inquiry has been initiated and more details will be released soon.
