UFBU welcomed the constitution of this Committee immediately as agreed in the Minutes. UFBU welcomed all the members of the Committee and expressed hope and belief that this Committee would be able to discuss and finalise a clear roadmap for implementation of 5 Days Banking within an earliest possible time-frame.

UFBU pointed out that since the issue involves knowing the concerns of the various stake-holders and addressing them with a view to implement the 5 days banking, a physical meeting should be held at the earliest for a full day so all the connected issues can be discussed and sorted out. Accordingly, it has been decided to hold the meeting shortly.

Fake Letter being Circulated

Meanwhile, a letter is being circulated on Social Media that IBA has provided three suggestions:

  • Scale wise ROTATIONAL DAY OFF to the staff in Weekday
  • ONLY NON CASH HOURS on 5th Saturday of every month
  • Scale wise DAY OFF on each Saturday to the staff

This letter is Fake. UFBU has not yet released any official communication.
