WhatsApp services have been disrupted, causing problems for hundreds of users who are unable to connect or send messages. This issue is affecting both the WhatsApp mobile app and the web version, WhatsApp Web.

The problem has been widely reported on Downdetector, a popular website that tracks outages of online services. In India alone, more than 900 users have reported problems. Over 90% of the users said they were unable to send messages, while the rest mentioned server connection issues or other technical glitches in the app.

Some members of the technology team at The Times of India also confirmed that they were facing similar issues. They said they couldn’t send messages through either the WhatsApp mobile app or WhatsApp Web.

The issue is not limited to India. Globally, nearly 1,000 users have reported similar problems. Around 91% of them said they were unable to send messages, 6% faced app-related issues, and 3% had trouble receiving messages.
