Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s degree, OR
• At least 2 years of relevant work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g., Master’s, MBA, JD, MD), OR
• 0 years of relevant work experience with a PhD, OR
• 8+ years of relevant work experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as a team lead.
• Expertise in one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript), and experience with HTML, CSS, and Angular for frontend development.
• Proven experience in building and deploying modern services and web applications with an emphasis on quality, scalability, and security.
• Strong knowledge of secure coding practices, data encryption, and access control; hands-on experience with security audits, vulnerability management, and integrating security into the SDLC.
• Good understanding of Load Balancers, Firewalls, Storage Systems, Caching, monitoring and logging, and Disaster Recovery plans for scalable and reliable web applications.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills for quick resolution of issues.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams; ability to mediate and resolve conflicts.
• Experience working within Scrum teams and/or other agile frameworks.
• Ability to work effectively within and outside the team, fostering a collaborative environment to achieve shared goals.
• Understanding of DevOps principles and practices.
• Natural collaborator with excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
